How to use the Pomodoro timer

The Pomodoro technique is designed to help you stay focused and avoid burnout by taking regular breaks from work. The idea is that by breaking your work into smaller chunks, you can stay fresh and avoid becoming overwhelmed.

  1. Choose a task you want to work on.
  2. Set a timer for 25 minutes.
  3. Work on the task until the timer goes off.
  4. Take a 5 minute break.
  5. Repeat this process (work for 25 minutes, take a 5 minute break) four times.
  6. After four cycles, take a longer break fo 15 minutes.
